Arediou-Vouppes , Cyprus

"Arediou-Vouppes is a Late Bronze Age settlement located at the edge of the northern foothills of the Troodos Mountains. It has been interpreted as a specialised farming site dating to the 13th century BC. Work areas have been excavated with interesting arrays of stone tools and pottery on the floors. In addition there is considerable evidence for trading contacts with Egypt, Mycenaean Greece, Minoan Crete and the Levant. One of the more exciting finds in 2006 was a tomb containing multiple inhumations. Amongst the finds there was also a fine example of a bronze spear dating to the 16th century BC."
