| Text: | Antiguo Oriente (often abbreviated as AntOr) is the peer-reviewed scholarly journal of the Centro de Estudios de Historia del Antiguo Oriente (Institute of Studies for the History of the Ancient East), History Department, School of Philosophy and Arts, Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (Buenos Aires, Argentina). It considers for publication manuscripts related to the history of the societies of the Ancient Near East and the Eastern Mediterranean from the Paleolithic through the Roman-Hellenistic period. Antiguo Oriente publishes articles and book reviews in Spanish, English and French. It is published once a year, and since its foundation in 2003, has published five numbers. The journal is indexed in the LATINDEX catalog and the Núcleo Básico de Publicaciones Periódicas Científicas y Tecnológicas Argentinas (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas, CONICET). Deadline for submissions: May 31st. |
