Hypertext Bible Project

"The project intends to resource biblical scholarship and Bible study by publishing hypertext Bible commentaries and Bible Dictionary. This material will be hyperlinked, so enabling exploration, and will use the richness of multimedia information as well as text. Writers will:respect the role of the biblical text as Holy Scripture for Christian and Jewish communitiesrepresent accurate and careful biblical scholarshipThe articles and commentary will be prepared by scholars and seminary teachers. Materials published by the project will be quality controlled through an academic peer review process. The basic material will be available freely online, while stable citable editions will be sold to libraries to fund the ongoing running costs. Funding is being sought to cover the start up costs."
