Fayum Survey Project

"The project was originally started in 1995 by Dominic Rathbone of King''s College London, in the south-west Gharak basin. It was then taken over by a joint mission of the University of Cologne / University of Oxford survey in 1999; and is now run by University College London, following the reassignment of project director Professor Cornelia Roemer to London.
