The Shelby White - Leon Levy Program for Archaeological Publications

"The Shelby White - Leon Levy Program for Archaeological Publications was established to support research on terminated and unpublished archaeological field work from significant sites in the Aegean, Anatolia, Balkans, Levant, and Mesopotamia. Since its inception, in 1997, $5,918,495 in grants has been awarded to ninety-six scholars. Application is open to archaeologists holding the doctorate, or, to doctoral candidates conducting research on unpublished field work, provided they can devote full time to the publication project and have secured the legal right to prepare the materials for publication..."
