Lefkandi

"The Lefkandi student Web site focuses on Lefkandi from the Bronze Age to the Archaic period. It contains texts at undergraduate level, a few maps and illustartions. There is a summary of scholarly papers on Toumba, which is an important Archaic tomb that seems connected with the ritual practice of the tomb cult. A review of scholarly positions on hero cults and tomb cults, with particular reference to Toumba, is also included. All the contents summarise published papers and for this reason the Web site should not be used as a primary source of information by students. Nevertheless, the site introduces important topics and may be a valuable substitute to a missed lecture. " [description from the Humbul Humanities Hub]
