"The present volume contains translations and commentary on the hieroglyphic texts published in the Oriental Institute's first two Medinet Habu folios, Oriental Institute Publications 8-9 (1930-32): 1. Earlier Historical Records of Ramses III; 2. Later Historical Records of Ramses III. Volume 1 contains Plates 1-54; Volume 2, Plates 55-130. No discussion of the composition and content of the scenes is presented; they are treated later in a separate publication."
