"In dieser Arbeit sollen die Fremdgüter aus dem Ostmittelmeerraum behandelt werden, die an mittel- und spätbronzezeitlichen Orten Anatoliens gefunden worden sind. Es handelt dabei um Objekte aus den Materialien Ton, Stein (Karneol, Lapislazuli und Achat), Bernstein, Glas/Fritte/Fayence, Metall (Bronze, Gold), Muscheln, Knochen und Elfenbein. Sie lassen sich unterschiedlichen Gruppen zuordnen: Gefäßen, Figurinen/Statuetten/Reliefs, Perlen, Anhängern, Schmuck, Kämmen, Gewichten, Griffen, Möbelteilen, Intarsien, Siegeln/Siegelabdrücken, Spielbrettern und Rohstoffen (Elfenbein und Kupferbarren)... This thesis deals in general with the connections between Anatolia and Cyprus as well as the other regions of the Eastern Mediterranean in the Middle and Late Bronze Ages (ca. 2000-1200 BC). Specifically, it examines the foreign objects in Anatolia in this time period. Based on this evidence it aims to reconstruct the connections of Anatolia with the different regions of Eastern Mediterranean, which are the Levant, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Cyprus and the Aegean. This study mainly involves library research. Since there is an emphasis on Cypro-Anatolian connections, unpublished Cypriot material from different sites in Anatolia is examined. "
